Transition Years have yet another trip today. This time they will go to UL Sport/Adventure Center in Killaloe with thier co-ordinator Mr. Sexton. Tomorrow TY will have an interview to present their portfolio for this year.

Later this evening Mr Sexton and his team of TY students willl walk from The Cliffs of Moher to Doolin on the Wild Atlantic Way. They will stay in a Youth hostel in Doolin. This willl help to fulfill part of their Gáisce awards.

The annual First Year Schools Football Blitz will take place today in Lahinch and Ennistymon pitches. Go First Years!.............BIG Congrats to our Brillliant First Years who won this years competition and to Mr. Clohessey for organising the event.

This morning Mr.Galvin and his TY history class will take a walking tour of Ennisytmon as part of one of thier TY modules.

Ms. Ahern and Ms. Molloy are taking the two First Year classes on a school trip today. This geography trip will cover Lahinch Beach, the Cliffs of Moher Visitors Center and the Ailwee Caves and Birds of Prey. Have fun!
April 29th
Bright and early this morning Mr. Sexton and the 5th years headed off to Croagh Patrick with our Chaplain Fr. Liam. They will climb the REEK and Fr. Liam will celebrate mass at the summit church. Looks like Herr Sexton's request for a fine sunny day came true! Enjoy.
Monday April 28th
This Wednesday we will hold CBS Sports Day 2014.
There will be a Barbeque available for all. This year we have invited Bubble Soccer Ireland to host a set of games for any pupil interested in playing. Get a team of 5 together by Tuesday. check out their website!
School Re-opens in two weeks on Monday April 28th at 9am.

The winner of the Easter egg hamper raffle is 2nd year Conal Lewis. Congratulations Conal. €185 was raised in aid of The Friary in Ennis to thank Fr. Liam and the Franciscan Friars for all their help and support throughout the year.

This afternoon the Students Council are running a Teachers vs Pupils Basketball game to raise funds for the school charity fund.
€2 is the entry ticket and the game will start at 2:45pm. Come on the Teachers!!!
Tuesday April 8th
Easter Confessions will take place this morning in the Old Monastry with Fr. Liam and the Franciscan Friars.
TY will attend the Ennistymon Choral Society Show Oklahoma today in Lahinch.
Best of Luck to our Leaving Certs who will sit their Irish Oral exam this afternoon and tomorrow.

Our Leaving Cert Students are currently sitting their German Oral exams. We wish them all the best of luck and we thank Ms Lisa our German Language Asssistant for her dedication and extra German Club classes.
