Another wonderful and exciting Sports Day. The weather added to the day and the Barbeque in aid of Nepal was very popular. The fact that 215€ was raised is sure testatment to that. Congratulations to all the pupils who competed in the various events around the pitch on the day. A special word of congratulations to our Athlete of the Day John Murphy. A First year!! Well done.

Congratulations to Patrick Sheridan Adam Daniels and Darragh Bennis who won second prize in their category in Sci Fest LIT.
Tomorrow Ms Healy will be taking Conor Murphy of TY and a group of our first year Young Scientists to compete at

Today our Leaving Cert students will sit their German Oral Exam. This exam takes approximately 15 minutes and is worth 25% to the higher level candidate and 20% to the ordinary level candidates. We ask pupils to be aware that these exams will be taking place in the Deputy Principals office and that we should all keep the noise to a minimum in that area of the school. VIEL ERFOLG! Best of Luck to all the lads.

Our U15 team will play Scariff later today in Clarecastle in the U15 Munster Hurling final. We wish Mr Galvin their coach and the team the best of Luck. C'mon the Mon!!!

Paddy Donovan is boxing from age division Youth One at 57kg, for Our Lady of Lourdes Boxing Club Limerick.
Today Mr Galvin and a team of our best runners are off to the Munsters Schools Cross Country competition in Cork Institute of Technology.
Wishing all of our Junior Cert and Leaving Cert pupils all the very Best over the next couple of weeks!

Today our first years will play a Basketball tournament in NUIG. Good Luck lads!
Micky Mac Connell and Wayne Tarren will play a short concert in our school on Tuesday February 10th at 2pm . All Pupils are welcome to attend. Please bring your instrument if you play as there will be an opportuity to join in the music! The cover charge is 2€ per pupil and all proceeds will go towards the songwriting project in TY. Today Mr Galvin will take our Cross country team to Paleskenry Co. Limerick to run in The North Munster Schools Cross country event.
A Parent Information evening for Parents of 3rd Years on Senior Cycle Subject Options will be held on Wednesday January 28th at 6:30 pm. All Welcome.
The 5th Year and Transition Year Parent teacher Meetings will be held this Thursday January 29th from 4.15pm until 6.45pm. We look forward to seeing you.
2nd Year Parent Teacher meetings will be held the following Monday February 2nd 2015.
