This Friday the Christmas Concert will take place starting at 11am. All are welcome.

This evening the CBS will be taking part in the Advent mass in Our Lady and St Michael's Church. The boys will be singing playing music and doing the readings as part of the preparation for Christmas. Mass will be at 7pm and all are very welcome.

Due to the ASTI industrial action the school will be holding the Parent teacher meetings for 1st and 3rd year tomorrow Wednesday November 27th from 10am til 12:30 pm and Leaving Certs from 1:30pm til 3:30pm.
Mr Galvin accompanied by visiting USA Teacher Ms. Ashton are taking Transition year pupils on a walking tour of different parts of Co. Clare for three consecutive Mondays. The tours are part of their history module for the year.

Anyone who would like to be involved in the upcoming Christmas Concert should go to Ms. OBrien's room at lunchtime for practice sessions.
This Wednesday our U 16 1/2 Hurling team will play in a final against St Munchins Limerick. The game will take place in Gurteen Ennis at 1pm. All are welcome. There will be a bus for supporters from the school. Best of Luck to all the lads involved and to their team manager Mr. Galvin and his backroom team.

This evening at 8pm our Transition Year will graduate. Mr Sexton and the class will present a taste of what they have achieved this year. Transition Year parents and family are invited to attend. Afterwards there will be refreshments for all. We look forward to this evening.

We have a new Senior Student of the Year. Just crowned. Michael Leigh who graduates this evening from CBS. Congratulations Michael!

Today is our 8th annual Awards Day. Kick off is at 12noon. All welcome. See you there.
This evening our Leaving Certificates will celebrate finishing School with a Mass 8pm.
Fr. Liam will celebrate the Mass. There will be tea and coffee and a slice a cake for all afterwards.

Today CBS will play St Flannans College in the Clare Colleges U16 1/2 Final in Corofin. Kick off is at 11.30 am.
Fingers crossed that the boys can bring home another Football title to the school this year to add to the Senior Title won last week. Good Luck Lads!

This Friday we will be hosting our 8th Annual Awards Day in the Community Center in Ennistymon. The event will begin at 12 noon and all parents are welcome to join us.
Awards include sports day medals and Academic or Commendations Certificates for each subject. The event finishes with Student of the Year for both Junior and Senior awarded by our Sponsor Bank of Ireland. Hope we see you there.

Today all of first year will go on a school tour to Galway accompanied be Ms. Healy and Ms. Moroney. The trip will include a visit to the new Galway city museum and Pure skills. Have fun!
Friday May 17th
Congratulations to our Senior football team who won the Senior Colleges Final against St Caimins in Gurteen yesterday. The score was 6:13 to 3pts. It was a tremendous day for Mr. Clohessey and Mr Galvin as the Clare Senior Colleges Title was captured for the first time in over a decade. Well done to all involved!

Bonjour tous le monde. je m appelle cyril marie hillion. j ais 16 ans et je vient de bretagne et j ai passe 9 mois en irlande pour un experience linguistique. cette anne fut tres benefique pour moi j ai pue decouvrire une autres culture,des paysages different, un environnement pas comme les autres mais tres proche de celui de ma bretagne natal. . Jai put integrer une section scolaire qui se nomais transition years j ais put y decouvrir plein de chose interesante et put faire beaucoup d activites comme surf,assencion de roches,explorer des cavernes,faire du jardinage etc..... je remerci tous lers profs,les eleves, ma famille d aceuil,mes amis et de vous dire peut etre un aurevoir et un grand merci.
