Well done to our First and Second year basketball teams who headed for Gort to play their third set of games this season. The First year team got off to a great start, but slowing but surely Carreroe creep back into the lead and won it strongly in the end. This team has made a huge amount of progress and we look forward to their basketball future.
Our Second year team had an excellent start which they were able to maintain til the final whistle. They held their lead and made brilliant progress. There are three more games left to play and hopefully insure their place in the Basketball Regional Finals which will be held in March 2014. The present Second year team won this trophy last year when playing in the First year competition and they hope to hold onto their title in the coming year. Good luck !!
