STATEMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Ennistymon CBS has recently completed a pilot scheme with selected Leaving Cert class groups to move their regular classes to an online virtual classroom using Microsoft Teams.

The Department Of Education and Skills  (DES)has published, on its website advice for schools, parents and students.

Ms. Roisin Neylon recently gave a presentation to parents of Leaving Certificate Students on the CAO application process.

The Creative Engagement program at CBS Ennistymon has been successfully  completed over the last few weeks; the result, a CD with three original songs. 

The CBS U-19 basketball team scored a 47-33 victory over St Flannan’s College on Friday last.

November 5th sees the opening of the CAO online application facility. Over the next few weeks, Ms. Griffey and Ms. Neylon will be assisting Leaving Cert students to make their applications during careers classes.

Maths week in CBS Ennistymon got off to a wonderful start with maths puzzles appearing in walls, windows and Digital Noticeboard.
