Each year, Catholic Schools Week is celebrated during the last week of January. This year, Catholic Schools Week was celebrated in Ennistymon CBS from January the 28th through to February 3rd with a variety concert for the patients of Ennistymon Community Hospital, the making of St. Brigid's crosses and prayer in the classroom.
Teachers, Ms Browne and Mr Sexton together with the First Year pupils and a host of musicians from Transition Year entertained the patients of Ennistymon Community Hospital with a selection of songs, music, sean nós dancing and brush dancing for over an hour on the 27th of January.
Ms Molloy one of our teachers kept the age old tradition of making St.Brigid's crosses with a first year workshop, followed by a presentation to our school secretary who whose Christian name also happens to be Brigid.
