Congratulations to our 3rd year Coding student, Tom Dandoy, who has qualified for the National Final of the Scratch Coding Competition 2021. The final will take place online on Wednesday 21st April 2021. Tom is one of 34 finalists from 215 entrants in the competition.

Tom has been learning Scratch programming for game design since first year in his Coding class with Mr. Murphy. All Junior Cycle students in Ennistymon CBS now take a Computer Coding module for 3 years where they learn to design games, apps, websites etc. During Technology Week, April 17th -23rd - all Junior Cycle students are doing a special module on Python Coding with Minecraft.
