Firstly, the U-16 began with a win over Dunmore. It was an even enough game but CBS pulled away easily in the final quarter winning game 38-30. Ciaran Harrington, Cillian OConor, Dylan Heneghan and Macdara O’Keefe all contributed to the score board. Excellent team work got them over the line.

The U-19 game was a different story, as Dunmore outscored CBS in the first, second and third quarters. The CBS had to dig deep to equalise the scores and with 2 minutes to go in the final quarter CBS had equalised but Dunmore were not to give up and took the lead with 3 baskets in a row and no reply from CBS.

A time out was called by CBS Ennistymon and they hit the court, with Mikey Rynne, Sam Linanne, Cian Fahy and Cillian Devitt all scoring and Ciaran Mahon played brilliant defence and stole the ball to create scores for CBS Ennistymon Basketball Team. CBS Ennistymon were ahead when the final whistle went. Final score 48-43. It was a very exciting and entertaining game.

 Huge thanks to all the pupils, teachers and supporters that came to watch as ye got behind the team when needed most and got them over the line.  Looking forward to the next games on Monday 19 November in Ennistymon Community Hall. All support welcome.
