Armagh Planetarium Trip

During summer term 2018, 5th Year students from the Religion and Physics departments made the trip to Belfast and Armagh.

This was a fantastically interesting trip. On day one the students travelled to Belfast and went on a historical tour of the city; they saw sites such as Stormont, the Titanic Experience, the Peace Walls, Queens University and Victoria Square. On day two, we travelled to Armagh where the students firstly went to the Armagh Planetarium; they built rockets, toured the space museum and attended the digital theatre, which was an amazing experience. Secondly the students attended a guided tour of the beautiful and historical Armagh Cathedral.  A wonderful trip was had by all involved.
