On January 25^th students from the CBS got the opportunity to hear Mr Wayne Denner, a well known and respected international speaker and author who helps young people to make better choices online.

Gavan Hennigan , adventurer visited the school on January 16^th . He gave a presentation to the fifth and sixth year students.

In keeping with Tradition the First Years and Transition Year Students made St Brigid Days Crosses with Ms Molloy 

The All Ireland Playoffs were held in Ennistymon Community Centre on Sunday last 21^st January 2018. This was a huge occasion and event in the school year. There was six games played in total which CBS Ennistymon played in three of these.

The senior Footballers were out in force on the 19^th of January bringing home yet another win in the Munster Schools quarter final.

Roisin Neylon recently gave a presentation to parents of Leaving Certificate Students on the CAO application process.

The CBS Ennistymon are competing in and hosting the All-Ireland U-19 Basketball playoffs this Sunday, January 21st, in the Community Centre, Ennistymon.

TY student, Patrick Sheridan, saw his project on using renewable energy in mining crypto currencies such as Bitcoin, garner a lot of attention at this year’s BT Young Scientist Exhibition.

Christmassy Day!

Another regular event in the school calendar is the annual 'Christmassy Day' which took place in the run up to the Christmas Holidays.

The skies opened, the hailstones came down, but when the curtain opened the talents of the Monastery boys shone.  Yes, you have guessed it, the annual CBS Christmas concert took place on Wednesday the 13^th of December in Ennistymon Community Centre.

Science week 2017 took place during November in our school.

The annual CBS Variety Show takes to the stage on Wednesday 13^th December in the Community Centre in Ennistymon.
